Iwaki coated ware, which includes tissue culture petri dishes, multiwell plates and flasks, mimics in-vivo substrates and improves cell morphology, growth, differentiation and function. The range is available with a choice of coating - Collagen type-1, Gelatin, Fibronectin and Poly-L-Lysine - each of which has been developed to offer benefits for specific cell lines. Fibronectin coated products, for example, are particularly suitable for coating fibroblasts, liver cells and nerve cells in serum-free media.
Saving valuable laboratory space, Iwaki coated products require no refrigeration, and have a longer shelf life than their in-house coated equivalents. For added safety and convenience an expiry date is printed on the inner packaging.
